What Do We Provide?
Tahoe Electric Bike Rental provides the bike/s rental, drop off/pick up, helmet and bike lock. We will also provide battery chargers if you rent daily or weekly.

Tahoe Electric bike rentals has a mobile service which will come to you in the case of any break downs or flats to repair or replace your bike.

Where Will Tahoe Electric Bike Rental Deliver/Pick-Up a Bike?
We will deliver bicycles anywhere in the greater Tahoe/Truckee/Reno Area, to homes, businesses, hotels, parks, beaches or just about any location you desire. Some of the places we have delivered bikes to include Tahoe City, Incline, King’s Beach, Sunny Side, Tahoe Vista, Dollar Point, Carnelian and Crystal Bay South Lake Tahoe, Mindin and Kirkwood. We will also deliver to Reno, Sparks, Carson City and the surrounding areas.

How Far Can One Go on a Single Charge?
Distance is dependent on a number of variables including speed, incline and the weight of the rider. All Tahoe electric bike rental bicycles can do roughly twenty miles at max speed on a significant incline caring a rider over 250 pounds. On flat terrain at slower speeds the bikes will go over fifty miles.

What is your cancellation policy?
As long as we are given 36 hour notice of a cancellation you will not be billed for a reservation.

What is the top speed of your offered bikes?
Does Tahoe Electric Bike Offer Children’s Bikes and Infant Trailers?
We do not have children’s bikes but some models are small enough for larger children. We also have infant, elderly and dog trailers available.

Can I Keep a Bike Overnight and How Long Will It Take to Recharge?
Tahoe Electric bike rentals does offer overnight rentals for a $120.00 per day and we also have weekly rates depending on availability. Day/Week rentals include a charger which will recharge the battery in five hours or less.

Is it Difficult to Ride an Electric Bicycle?
No – it is just like riding a normal bike, though it helps to be a proficient bicyclist due to the ease of speeds reached due to the electric motor.

Where Can I Ride a Bike in Lake Tahoe?
There are over 30 miles for designated bike trails out of Tahoe city along with bike lanes around a large portion of the lake. There are also numerous off road trails of varied difficulty in the area, definitely something for every level of rider.

What to Do in the Event of an Accident?
If you are severly injured while biking on a trail or struck by a vehicle, immediately call 911 to seek medical care. In the event you or a loved one needs help communicating to family members, please feel free to trust me to assist in any way I can.
